FUNDING TO SUPPORT EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN TÜRKIYE

Our heartfelt condolences to those impacted by the catastrophic earthquakes that have caused so much loss of life and suffering in Türkiye and Syria. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrible disaster. We are also praying for the health and safety of the courageous rescue crews working around the clock to find and free survivors trapped in the rubble.

Funding is desperately needed to provide for the thousands of persons displaced due to the earthquakes. From February 6 to 22, the Government of Canada will match donations from individuals to the Earthquake in Türkiye and Syria Appeal, up to a maximum of $10 million.

The Toronto Star has identified a number of organizations that Canadians can donate to in order to help relief efforts in the area.

Humanitarian organizations are asking for donations from Canadians to support relief efforts in the region.
