In the 1960’s, one of Canada’s greatest architects, Raymond Moriyama, was hired to design the Ontario Science Centre. In the Brutalist style, it is an important example of Canadian architecture and captures the zeitgeist of the time. A piece of Canada’s history cannot be demolished. Whether it remains the home of the Science Centre or is reimagined as a community or shopping centre, it should be preserved and considered a historical building. It is heart-breaking to think that it will be destroyed. Please sign the petition.
