Hey Everyone!
I had spoken to a woman at the Family and Children’s Services of Renfrew County to inquire about donations needed for children and youth. She was able to give me a list of items they are looking for as donations and I was hoping to collect some donations to bring to them by the end of July! If you’d be willing to donate either monetarily or with items off the list, that would be so greatly appreciated! Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
Priority items needed:
School supplies needed:
Backpacks/ duffel bags
Pens, pencils, coloured pencils, markers, pencil cases, sharpies, notebooks
Other priority items needed:
Hair ties/scrunchies
Socks (needed for all ages)
Toothbrushes (individually packaged)
Toothpaste
Tampons & Pads
Deodorant
Bars of soap
Shampoo
Extra stuff needed but not necessarily a priority:
Small cosmetic bags
Chapstick
Hair brushes/ combs
Brands/prices of items is not important, just looking to get as many items possible to make up backpacks/packages with any necessities for kids in need!
If you cannot pick up the items and would like to donate money instead I will be able to purchase the items needed off the list with those donations or pass on the donations to the organization for them to purchase items that are needed!
If you’d rather write a check, you can make it out to the “Family and Children’s Services of Renfrew County”
If there are any local businesses that would be willing to help or participate in collecting donations that would be so amazing! Please feel free to reach out!
