✨Member Spotlight: VICTORIA SIUDEM ✨

3rd Year Bachelor In Science Nursing Student, Western University

Victoria Siudem is a third-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University.

Born and raised in Canada, she values Polish heritage and the traditions and sense of community passed down through her family.

Growing up in the Polish-Canadian community has inspired her to stay connected to her roots while pursuing her path in healthcare. She believe it is important to preserve our heritage and create opportunities for the younger generations to stay connected to Polish culture.

She is excited to join the Canada-Poland Association of Businesswomen to connect with women across generations and backgrounds, support Polish-Canadian initiatives, and contribute to a community that inspires collaboration and growth.

As she continues her studies, she hopes to bring a younger perspective to the organization and help strengthen the link between Polish heritage, community engagement, and the future of Polish women in Canada.

✨Member Spotlight: MARCELINA SPYCHALSKA ✨

B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences, Diploma in Biotechnology, Studies in Clinical Bioinformatic

Marcelina Spychalska is an Honours Biomedical Science graduate with a Diploma in Biotechnology, bringing together a strong scientific background with experience in research, customer service, leadership, and community engagement.

Her academic and research experience includes biomedical and diabetes-related research at Humber Polytechnic and York University, where she developed skills in laboratory procedures, data analysis, technical documentation, quality control, and scientific communication. She also served as a Biochemistry PASS Leader, supporting students through collaborative learning and making complex scientific concepts more accessible.

Alongside her scientific background, Marcelina has several years of professional experience with Shoppers Drug Mart, where she has developed strong skills in organization, inventory management, problem-solving, customer service, and operational coordination.

Marcelina is also actively involved in the Polish-Canadian community. As a Volunteer Coordinator for Mississauga Polish Day, she helps coordinate and support approximately 60 volunteers, contributing to the successful organization of one of the community’s large cultural events.

She is passionate about continued professional development, building meaningful connections, and contributing her skills to initiatives that strengthen and empower the Polish-Canadian community.

Diplomat, Economist, Author

Economist, academic, and international business expert specializing in women’s entrepreneurship and economic development. Dr. Sabina Klimek is affiliated with the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and has extensive experience in economic diplomacy and international cooperation, including diplomatic assignments in New York, Istanbul, and her recent assignment in Toronto.

She is the author of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Poland and Its Impact on the Country’s Economic Development and is passionate about strengthening women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, and global business connections.
