Starting over…
On February 14, 2025, my page was removed after I posted a post-mastectomy ar**la tattoo created for a breast cancer survivor. The design was a small heart-shaped ar**la for Valentine’s Day.
Even though it was clearly not a real ar**la (it was literally heart-shaped), the post was still flagged as nudity — and my entire page, built over years of work, education, and client stories, was shut down.
For the past year I’ve been trying to get the page reinstated, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to recover it.
It’s incredibly frustrating that medical tattooing — work that helps survivors feel whole again after breast cancer — can still be misunderstood or censored on social media. Ar**la tattooing is a recognized form of paramedical tattooing and an important part of many survivors’ healing journeys.
So we are starting fresh.
If you followed my previous page, I would be so grateful if you could follow this new page and share it to help rebuild this community.
And if anyone happens to have any connections at Meta who might be able to help restore the original page — which held 7 years of content, education, and thousands of followers — I would be beyond appreciative. Until then, please follow along here as we rebuild.
Thank you for supporting this work and the people it helps every day. 🤍
