🦃 A LITTLE TURKEY, A LOT OF LOVE FOR LITTLE PORTUGAL 🇵🇹

By now, you may have heard about our most unexpected Little Portugal resident — the turkey that’s been roaming around Dundas West! 👀🦃

Whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving, enjoying the long weekend, gathering with family and friends, or simply taking in a beautiful fall weekend in the neighbourhood, we’re sending some love your way. 🍂❤️

We’re grateful for the people who make Little Portugal what it is — our local businesses, artists, residents, neighbours and visitors who bring Dundas West to life every day.

And a special thank you to **** for helping put our feathered neighbourhood celebrity in the spotlight! 🦃📺

Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating, and happy long weekend, Little Portugal! 🇵🇹🍂

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is meant to recognize the horrible legacy of the Canadian Indian residential school system, through listening to and raising the voices of Indigenous activists and storytellers. It is also meant to honour the survivors of this system.

Please take time to learn and reflect- you’ll find some businesses closing early to do so.
