ππ₯ Another Double Header Weekend in the Books! π₯π
Our team was back on the road again this weekend delivering training across Nova Scotia, and what a fantastic weekend it was!
π In Port Hawkesbury, we had the privilege of working with members of the Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department and surronding communities during our Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVDT) Course. Participants spent the weekend building the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to safely operate emergency vehicles while responding to calls and serving their communities.
π¨ Stay tuned! We are very excited about the future of this program and are hoping to have a major announcement regarding our EVDT Program for 2027 in the near future!
π Meanwhile, at the Noel and District Volunteer Fire Department with member from neighbouring departments, we wrapped up Weekend #2 of our Vehicle Extrication Course. Students put their skills to the test through hands-on scenarios involving vehicle stabilization, disentanglement techniques, tool operations, and scene safety. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved was outstanding.
π A huge thank you to both departments for hosting us and to all of the firefighters who dedicated their weekends to continuing their professional development. The commitment shown by volunteer firefighters across our province never ceases to impress us.
