"We were so lucky to find Excavation and Creation to turn our backyard from an unusable area to an actual backyard. We purchased our home with the back area unfinished. Twenty feet from our backdoor the land dropped off which would have been extremely hard to mow, if we had grass. There were huge stumps around the perimeter, a large indentation that was filled with stagnant water, piles of brush, branches and lots of weeds.
Dillon, from Excavation and Creation was referred to us by a contractor we had been using and who we were extremely pleased with his work. We contacted Dillon and he replied promptly and arrived on time to view the area. Because the area was so “wild” it was hard for us to imagine what actually could be done but Dillon had a vision and was able to explain what he thought the end product could look like. He provided a reasonable quote, which we agreed to and then all we had to do was wait until the area was dry enough to bring in the equipment.
A couple of weeks ago the area was dry enough and the equipment arrived with Dillon and his team, Steve and Logan. This team is an amazing group of the hardest workers we have ever had the pleasure of hiring and we have hired numerous contractors for many of our houses over the years. They were pleasant, professional and were able to answer our questions. We never saw them on their cell phones. They gave 100% even during the most humid days, they noticed and attended to little things like cutting branches from a tree that took away from the overall appearance of the property and made sure that we would be able to mow the lawn easily without inclines and slopes. They had unearthed some large stones and positioned them around the yard (after consulting with us) to create visual interest and they ensured the land was contoured to prevent unwanted water drainage. We had the feeling that they enjoyed working on our project and treated it like it was their own backyards.
Dillon and his team’s work ethics and knowledge cannot be surpassed. They take pride in their work and the finished results are proof. If you are lucky enough to get on Dillon’s list you are in capable hands."
