I did not start an online business because I wanted to spend every day creating posts.

I DID NOT LEAVE MY JOB BECAUSE I WANTED TO.

For more than 30 years, I worked as a healthcare professional.

I knew what it meant to work hard, carry responsibility, work more than one job, raise a family, and keep showing up even when I was exhausted.

Like many hardworking moms, I believed that if I just kept working, everything would eventually be okay.

But years of pressure caught up with me.

Stress and anxiety became overwhelming. I struggled to keep functioning at the level my work demanded—and eventually, I was fired.

That was painful.

After giving more than three decades of my life to working, suddenly losing my job made me question something I had rarely questioned before:

If one employer can take everything I have built for years, how secure is the future I am working so hard to protect?

I did not immediately feel confident or excited about starting over.

But I made one important decision:

I did not want to return to another full-time job and rebuild the same life that had already exhausted me. I wanted to build something of my own.

That decision led me into online business.

I had to learn new technology, digital marketing, business systems, and skills that were completely outside the career I had known for decades.

And somewhere in that process, I started rebuilding more than my income.

I rebuilt my confidence.

Today, I have more control over how I work and how I spend my time. I can enjoy something as simple as going into my garden without feeling that every hour of my life belongs to an employer.
