🌍 This Earth Day, here’s the impact we’ve made.

We’ve recycled over 4.2 million kg of plastic waste.
That’s the carbon equivalent of:
🚗 2,500+ cars taken off the road
🌲 570,000+ trees planted
⚡ Energy to power 2,300 homes for a year
🐘 570 elephants’ worth of waste gone from landfills

And we’re just getting started.
No fluff. No greenwashing. Just real impact.

The results are in! 🌍

We looked at four common shopping bag types—how they’re made, how long they last, and what happens to them after use. The truth? It’s not as simple as “organic = better.”

While paper and cotton seem like the “green” choice, the resources and emissions tied to making them can do more harm than you’d think. And plastic? It’s definitely a problem when we overconsume and toss it away. But when used responsibly and recycled the right way, they can actually be a sustainable choice.

It’s all about perspective and responsible action.

Every year the world loses about 10 million hectares of forest because of deforestation—that's about the size of Iceland. Forests provide us with clean air, water, and improve our well-being. When we lose our forests, we are losing opportunities to fight climate change.

Let's advocate protecting our forests and wildlife together. Visit https://www.un.org/en/observances/forests-and-trees-day to learn more about the benefits of trees and how we are all impacted by deforestation.
