Yonex's latest string, Polytour Force, has already been adopted on tour, most noteably by Joao Fonseca. Interestingly, Polytour Strike has been discontinued, because, allegedly, Force is simply a better version. I wasn't able to hit them back-to-back, so I can't say for sure that Force is better than Strike, but Strike used to be my fav Yonex string. Now it's Force.

Top 3 Budget Tennis Strings Are (in no particular order):
1. Tru Pro Pure Rush (R8zor also)
2. Tennis Only P6
3. Tourna Silver 7 Tour

My primary goals for "best budget" are good all-around playability that lasts a long time. In my experience, fan favourites like Volkl Cyclone and Kirschbaum simply lose tension and notch too quickly. Were they great budget strings 10-15 years ago? Yes. Do they stand up to today's market? No.

Pricing is also based of US MSRP's at regular price. Not counting sales or sketchy eBay listings.

i've tried 18 racquets so far this year... these are the BEST ONES!

for the purposes for this video, im only ranking 2026 releases (so no EZONE or TFIGHT). 2026 still has tons of new racquet releases left, i'm currently working on full length racquet reviews for the following frames:

VCORE 100D
Blade 100
Blade Pro 100
Muse 98
Muse 100
Prince Tour 98
Prince Tour 100
Prince Tour 100P

the top 10 racquets i've tried this year... so far are:

here's what they could do better:
VCORE 100: more control from the stringbed
Blade 98's: improve connection to the ball (even the VC100 is more connected lol so embarassing wilson)
Acrospeed: improve access to topspin (add 4wd grommets?)
Aero 100: improve maneuverability via adjusted weight distribution
VCORE 100D: hard to say tbh this thing is pretty dang good

ranking ever racquet ive tried this year so far... here's what these frames need to improve to rank higher:

Boom MP: the hoop shape wants you to hit spin but the weight distribution forces you to hit flat. pick one.
Fire 300: increase control on the stringbed and reduce overall brassiness
Speed Tour: increase stiffness for improved sweetspot
Boom Pro: improve connection to the ball and reduce weight to 305g
Speed MP: make the hitting feel more solid and connected (feels dry and hollow)
FT99: increase power and stability through a higher SW
Fire 305S: increase stringbed density for better control
Aero 98: change mold back to 2023 lol (sorry babolat)

One thing that every pro does to their tennis racquets is make sure that the specs are matched. Here's how I do it:
1. Measure unstrung static weight, balance, swingweight and twistweight.
2. Use a lighter base grip, I like Syntec Team but Wilson Feather Thin also works. Skip this step if you like an overall heavier feel. Add a leather grip here if you like leather.
3. Use Tennis Warehouse University's Customization Worksheet to estimate how to best match swingweight and twistweight. Add the lead tape you need to add and carefully remeasure your specs.
4. Counter balance with additional lead in the grip or under the grommets. Just make sure you keep things down the centre line of the frame so as not to change the twistweight.
