Cannot believe it’s been 5 years since I had the idea to start this page & offer social media management to businesses…
I started learning about digital marketing in January 2021 with not much clue about anything other than playing around on Canva and TikTok. After spending summers in Greece during uni, I knew I wanted to keep travelling but was over working in bars til 3am, and I wanted to find a career path I could actually enjoy.
Fast forward 5 years of lots of late nights diving into different areas of digital marketing, working 65+ hour weeks, and plenty of travel later, what started in my mums house on a random Tuesday as “KM Digital” is now Ninety Seven Socials (shoutout ).
Because 23 year old me decided to just go for it, I spent the next 2 summers in Greece managing social media accounts for some really cool clients, moved to Manchester to gain experience in an in-house role, travelled Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and landed incredible full-time roles in Glasgow, and now in Canada, that I never would have dreamed I could have taken on before.
It’s very true when they say you start a business because you don’t wanna work a 9-5, and then end up working 24/7 instead, but every late night and every difficult project has been so so worth it for the freedom, growth, and experiences they’ve brought me over the last 5 years, and I cannot wait to see what the next 5 bring 🫶
