Welcome, future K-9 Dieppe!

Dieppe is a 13 week old Belgian Malinois puppy who has entered our program as an explosives detection dog prospect with one of our trainers and managers, Courtney.

Dieppe is named after the 1942 Dieppe Raid (Operation Jubilee).

While the raid was a defeat, the name isn’t about the outcome, it’s about the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought. The lessons learned at Dieppe helped shape the success of D-Day, ensuring their sacrifice was not in vain.

For a working Belgian Malinois, it felt like a name with purpose.
