Seen as a weakness or a lack of workplace etiquette, many women are conditioned early to ignore their body signals, mute their intuition, and wear a mask and act a certain way in order to succeed at work.
Last week, I led an ๐๐ค & ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ workshop with . We had women from 6+ countries, โโpracticing how to name emotions that are often left unspoken at work. The goal wasnโt to judge, analyze, or fix what comes up, but to acknowledge what is already there by strengthening emotional awareness and enriching our vocabulary to name, express, and honor our emotions and boundaries.
This week, I will continue breaking the silence on ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ by moderating a panel at Vancouver in the Amazon Post building. Alongside Neeharika Gupta, Antony Ignatius, and , we will share our experiences honestly and speak openly about what it takes to stay present, grounded, and credible when emotions surface in professional settings.
Emotions are already part of our workplaces.
