Fluorescent ➡️ LED upgrade!

This warehouse was previously lit up with fluorescent lighting (aside from the odd fixture being replaced by LED once the fluorescent burnt out).

Eventually, the customer decided it was time to fully upgrade to LED.

We installed new Ledvance North America 210W linear High Bays, and Dual Selectable Strip Lights, and the difference is pretty striking.

How our customer received $14,000 in incentives from Efficiency Manitoba by upgrading to LED lighting 💡

Encore Metals recently upgraded their facility from 400W metal halide bulbs, to 300W LED monopoint High Bays.

We utilized existing fixture locations during this retrofit, which saved both time and money.

But that's not the only money that was saved; they were able to secure a $14,000 incentive from Efficiency Manitoba, which helped reduced their upfront investment significantly.

Is EV Charging expensive?

No! In fact, in the US it only costs around $4-6 to drive $100 miles in an EV.

The average driver only uses about 16-18% of their battery range within a day, giving them ample time (and miles) to top up with a Level 2 AC charger while they're sleeping, working, or running errands.

Is the future solar? 🔅

BC Hydro just recently announced rebates for homeowners looking to install of qualified solar photovoltaic (PV) system and battery-storage system together.

They will also be rolling out targeted rebates for apartment buildings, schools, community organizations, local governments, small businesses, social-housing providers, and Indigenous communities, which could go up to $50,000 - $150,000 based on the individual customers.

The rebates will become available later this month.

There are SO MANY incredible benefits to this:
✅ Saving money on energy bills
✅ Adding more renewable generation and storage, which reduces demand on the grid
✅ CLEAN energy!

It's BACK!

Natural Resources Canada () Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure program has re-opened for a limited time to offer up to 50% in funding for EV Charging projects.

This includes private charging for multi-family buildings and workplaces.
