I recently had a conversation with someone who responded to one of my ads, and that conversation reminded me why I talk so much about doing your research before getting involved in ANY online opportunity.

People see:

💰 3X commissions
💰 Up to $4,000

…and that's where they stop reading.

They don't ask how the business works.
They don't ask what has to be done to earn a commission.
They don't go through the information provided.
They don't ask about startup costs, qualifications, training or expectations.

They just see 💰💰💰💰.

And that can be dangerous online. ⚠️

💻 **𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 — 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥.**

You're not being hired by an employer.

There isn't a guaranteed salary.

There isn't a guaranteed paycheck every two weeks.

Building a business requires learning, effort, consistency, patience and personal responsibility.

And this is where I think that employee-to-business-owner mindset shift becomes so important.

An employee naturally asks:

💭 “How much are they going to pay me?”

A potential business owner asks:

💭 “How does this business actually work?”
💭 “What am I selling or marketing?”
💭 “How are commissions generated?”
💭 “What are the startup costs?”
💭 “What training and support are provided?”
💭 “Does this make sense for ME?”

Those are the questions I WANT you to ask me. 👏🏾

In fact, when someone expresses interest, I would much rather they slow down, watch the complimentary video, read the material, ask questions...do their own due diligence than rush into something simply because they saw a dollar amount.

Because that's also how people can become vulnerable to s*c*a*m*s—when excitement about making 💰💰💰 becomes louder than the questions they should be asking.

I want the people who decide to move forward to understand that they're choosing to build a business, not signing up to receive easy m*o*n*e*y or start a job.

Wake up.
Get the kids ready.
Go to work.
Come home exhausted.
Pay bills.
Try to catch up on everything you didn’t have time to do.
Sleep.
Then wake up and do it all over again.

And somewhere in between all of that… 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲. 💔

Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking…

💭 “I’m missing too much of my child’s life.”
💭 “Why am I working this hard and still worried about money?”

You work hard.
You show up.
You provide.
You sacrifice.

But what if working harder isn’t the only answer?

What if the question became:

Because I’ve realized something:

I want to be present.

I want memories.

I want experiences.

I want options.

I want to look back one day and know that I didn’t just work hard to build a life… 𝗜 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁. ❤️

Others will say, “That has to be fake.”

And I understand the skepticism. When you see people reaching income milestones that are far outside what many of us are accustomed to seeing from a traditional job, it can be difficult to wrap your mind around it.
