As Co-Founder and Regional Director for West & Central Africa, Hassanie Madingue plays a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to deliver innovative engineering solutions that strengthen infrastructure, expand energy access, and support sustainable development across the African continent.
Founded in Vancouver, Canada, TAWARA Group is a women-minority and employee-owned engineering and infrastructure firm with operations across Chad, Burkina Faso, and Côte d’Ivoire.
Through her leadership, Hassanie helps guide the company’s strategic growth across West and Central Africa while overseeing engineering initiatives that create resilient infrastructure and long-term value for the communities they serve.
With more than eight years of international engineering experience, Hassanie has contributed to projects across Africa and North America in geotechnical engineering, civil infrastructure, foundation engineering, transportation, overhead transmission lines, and energy systems.
Her expertise spans transmission line design using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER, as well as civil and geotechnical engineering, project management, technical leadership, and capacity building.
Beyond her technical achievements, Hassanie is deeply committed to developing people, strengthening institutions, and fostering partnerships that transform ambitious infrastructure projects into meaningful, long-lasting results.
She believes that sustainable development is achieved not only through engineering excellence but also by investing in local talent and empowering communities.
