We were pleased to welcome Ioanna Sahas Martin, Ambassador of Canada to Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua, along with members of the Embassy team, to our El Limon Mine in Nicaragua.

The visit provided a firsthand look at how a Canadian mining company creates value beyond gold—through responsible operations, environmental stewardship and community investment. The Ambassador also met with Equinox Gold leaders Yudith Rivera, Diana Lacayo and Anne Pérez Rivera, who were recently recognized by Women In Mining Central America as Mujeres de Oro.

The combined company will continue under the Equinox Gold name, with Darren Hall as CEO and Jason Simpson, President & CEO of Orla Mining, joining Equinox Gold as President.

Equinox Gold delivered a strong start to 2026, producing 197,628 oz of gold in Q1, anchored by our two Canadian mines ✅.

We remain on track to achieve full-year production and cost guidance and also advanced our pipeline of growth projects during the quarter, which could deliver up to 500,000 oz of additional annual production.

Supported by strong operating cash flow and the sale of our Brazil assets, Equinox Gold repaid $990 million of debt, initiated a share buyback program, and paid our first quarterly dividend during Q1. The Board has approved a second quarterly dividend that will be paid in June.
