When you say, “My course is for everyone,” what you’re really saying is, “I don’t want to exclude anyone because I’m afraid of missing out on sales.”
But here’s the truth: trying to appeal to everyone makes it harder to write the course and you won’t end up attracting anyone.
When you’re specific, clear, and firm about who your course is for, solving a pain point isn’t just *a strategy for success*— it’s THE strategy.
But you can’t do it until you understand who they are.
It’s time to go back to the basics:
🔹 What is your ideal student struggling with?
🔹 What’s happening in their life right now?
🔹 What are you promising them?
🔹 What tangible results will they experience after taking your course?
Avoid fluffy, a one-size-fits-all solutions that claim to work for everyone.
Nobody actually wants that.
Think of it like cooking for a crowd...
❌ “I’m making dinner for everyone!”→ So you make plain rice and beans—safe, basic, and… kind of forgettable. Nobody’s thrilled, and some people don’t even want it.
✅ I’m making dinner for a group of spice-loving taco enthusiasts!”→ Now people are **excited** and can’t wait to dig in.
So tell me—who is your course REALLY for?
