The Two Brothers towboat is getting a bit of masking removed and ready for putting in glazing for the portholes, that's the glass. A little bit of white painting after that and then the tug will be ready for display.

This big tug is getting its final coats of paint everywhere I can. The tug is getting 12 new porthole glasses too. The only way I can successfully anchor these porthole glasses in place is with a steady arm meant for soldering parts and a bit of tape to let them be glued and cured in place.

There's a lot of masking to be able to spray paint this entire large ship that is 60 inches long by about 17 inches wide. There are many portholes that are missing plastic window pieces.
I will have to recreate them.

I have repaired this credenza drawer pull by slipping the handle back into the eschuteon plate and soldering extra solder to the backside of the peaned over button. There was a tear in the eschuteon plate and I have repaired that by soldering as well.

The brass picture frame features are soldered together and painted where necessary.

This matte red coating is freshly applied. The challenge will be when I have to do the deck house, which is quite intricate. I must wait 2 days before I can apply one more coat.And then do the matte black sides. The cradles now have a felt lining preventing scrapping too badly when this model is moved around.

I am welding a frame for a sign. I can see better now too, with a lamp attached to my welding helmet.
I had to get another headlamp, because I needed to see other things and with higher intensity of lumen. I didn't go for the fanciest or highest lumens.
I went for something that still used the same huge batteries that I use.

This ancient watering pail now is soldered together and even though my client wasn't bothered if it would hold water anymore, it will now! I will add patina to the spout brace.
