Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia
Harrison Hot Springs became a small community in 1886 which quickly became known for its resorts with the opening of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The hotel was not constructed until 1949. This was when the hot springs developed its popularity. This thus, led to tourism to becoming one of the major support for the Harrison economy.
These hot springs really are something. The "Potash", has a temperature of 40°C, and the "Sulphur", with a temperature of 65°C. Just from hearing these numbers alone makes you wanna go into one of these hot springs to relax and ease off from stress. So, if you ever have family members from out of town or from another country, be sure to bring them along to experience these hot springs. Trust me, they won’t regret it!
