Don't worry Alberta, you can fill both your hands with these two beauties as well!

🙌 Two beers for two hands? That hardly seems like a coincidence. Old Slang and Rise Up are here on this double-release day.

First up is Old Slang, a charming, not-so-little rendition on the classic West Coast IPA. With a strong hop character owing to a generous helping of Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial, Old Slang delivers a resinous, piney, citrusy crush of hops. It only demands as much attention from your palate as it needs, however - we're still Dageraad and "balance" is the name of the game.

Thirsty for a less dank offering? Next is Rise Up, a spritely lager gently dry-hopped with Saaz, Motueka, and Spalter Select. It's clean and crushable with light pepper notes and a subtle sweetness. It also helps raise money for kids in the DTES. We brewed Rise Up in collaboration with our friends Batch and . Batch has long been an active supporter of the local music scene, and the St James Academy works to provide kids and teens in the Downtown East Side with free music education. A delicious beer that helps kids? That's something worth raising your voice about.

Both beers are fresh and ready today in the Tasting Room. Batch is also hosting a launch party at their Plaza of Nations location. Visit them today for live music and great food courtesy of . Both beers are available on our webstore now, and will hit store shelves beginning next week.
