Yaletown is Vancouver’s trendy and upscale renovated warehouse district. Old loading docks act as giant sidewalks and create a unique setting for wandering, shopping, or lounging at one of the many outdoor patios.

Meet BeeBee Prangchan, the owner behind .

Zab Zaab has made its mark in Yaletown with bold Northern Thai flavours that don’t play it safe. Expect bright herbs, serious heat, and dishes that are layered, punchy, and meant to be shared.

BeeBee’s focus has always been on authenticity — keeping the flavours true and letting the ingredients speak for themselves. It’s not toned down, and that’s exactly the point.

Whether its the Panaeng Curry or Pad Thai there’s always a favourite to go back to.

Open daily for lunch and dinner. ✨️

Meet Nancy Jelenic, owner of — alongside Monsieur Pepe, her long-haired chihuahua.

Since opening in 2004, Barking Babies has grown into one of Yaletown’s go-to spots for urban dogs — known for curated dog fashion, quality food and treats, spa products, and all the essentials that make life with a pup a little more elevated.

Beyond the boutique shelves, they also offer grooming services, dog training, and anesthesia-free teeth cleaning — all while keeping that personal, neighbourhood feel.

A longtime staple in the local dog community.

Meet Mai Nguyen, owner of Zen Den Hair.

With decades behind the chair, Mai has built a Yaletown salon known for thoughtful colour work — especially grey blending, lived-in tones, and fixing the colour that didn’t quite go as planned.

Zen Den isn’t about rushed appointments or trends for the sake of it. It’s about hair that grows out well, feels natural, and actually fits your life.

Meet Rachel & Emma, the duo behind Wren Cafe.

Wren Café is a bistro-style spot for all-day dining and beautifully made pastries — and with Le Cordon Bleu training behind them, it shows. Thoughtful, technique-driven, and just playful enough.

They’re especially known for their fruit-shaped pastries — delicate on the outside, layered with flavoured mousse, fruit compote, and cake inside.

The name Wren nods to the small bird and quietly carries their initials — simple, personal, intentional.

Definitely a sweet addition to the neighbourhood. 💙
