Happy Belated Earth Day from the whole RA team!

This year's theme is Our Power, Our Planet. This theme highlights the collective ability of individuals, communities, and governments to drive environmental progress through daily actions, sustainability, and advocacy. The theme emphasizes that lasting change is built through everyday choices rather than just policy. This theme is very fitting for us all working at RA and TFS, as it’s all about the power and contribution we make to support the planet and our ecosystems.

Day 3, and another casualty of the city’s “Zero means Zero” Budget. Disappointing to see SPEC - Society Promoting Environmental Conservation Repair Cafe funding cut by the City, especially in light of yesterday’s Metro Zero Waste/ Circular Economy Conference, where the importance of repair and reuse in the Circular Economy was front and center.
