Aside from the impossibility of finding a name that wasn't already in use by someone else, we realized that this name captured our essence. The entrance to an actual Back Valley Road was a few minutes from the small town in British Columbia where we grew up. Our family spent a lot of time exploring that road. It's where we saw our first black bear, rode an inner tube behind a car on a frozen lake,
and grew to love the anticipation of what might be revealed around next bend in the road. That Back Valley Road represented freedom, adventure and discovery. We approach our work with this spirit, exploring the road less traveled to find something new, exciting and real. A 23-year career in top-tier media, working in sponsorships, brand asset management, consumer and B2B sales and marketing, earned us the experience, perspective, hard work and appreciation of collaboration that are the foundation of all of our projects now.
