Corporate Presentation Designer Job Description

This is a 6-month, full-time position for a post-graduate student under 30 years of age (according to Canada Government Grant information) that may be extended based upon performance.

Candidate must:
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Be under 30 years of age
• Have post-secondary diploma in graphic design

Your duties:

• Illustrations, infographics, logos, and other designs
• Planning and preparing concepts for corporate documents, information, and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing rough layout of design, infographics and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Obtaining approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
• Preparing final layout.
• Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Maintaining technical knowledge and staying up to date on the latest design trends.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong Microsoft Office (esp: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite skills
• Additional education in business, communications, marketing, or journalism preferred
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.

Remuneration: $4,500/month
