Today, on , we highlight B2Gold’s Erhardtshof Agriculture Project at our Otjikoto Mine in Namibia, where maize and wheat production is helping strengthen food security and create local employment.

As part of our commitment to sustainable community development, B2Gold Namibia began investing in agriculture at Erhardtshof Farm on land adjacent to the mine in 2020. The initiative aims to increase local food production and reduce Namibia’s reliance on imports.

Using the area’s underground water resources and fertile soils, a 180-hectare pivot irrigation project was successfully developed between 2020 and 2025. Today, Erhardtshof produces approximately 2,000 tonnes of maize annually, along with a winter wheat crop.

The produce is processed and marketed by Namib Mills, Namibia’s largest milling company, located in nearby Otavi. Erhardtshof has since become a self-sufficient business, with profits supporting B2Gold’s community investment initiatives.

The project demonstrates how mining can help create sustainable businesses that continue generating benefits for local communities well beyond mine closure.

B2Gold recently welcomed a group of analysts to our Goose Mine in Nunavut, Canada, for an up-close look at the progress being made across the operation and the opportunities ahead.

The visit highlighted advancements across the mine, from underground and open pit mining activities to processing operations, as Goose continues to ramp up production.

Analysts also had the opportunity to see our extensive exploration program firsthand and learn how B2Gold's $51 million 2026 exploration budget is helping unlock the significant potential of the broader Back River Gold District.

B2Gold Mali was pleased to welcome a delegation from the Transitional Board of the Mali Chamber of Mines (CT-CMM) to our Bamako office for a courtesy visit on October 1.

Led by CT-CMM President Fousseini Togola, the delegation met with B2Gold Mali Country Manager Birama Cisse, for a constructive discussion on strengthening collaboration and encouraging greater engagement between mining companies and the Chamber.

A key focus of the meeting was the proposed establishment of a Consultative Framework designed to strengthen dialogue and ensure the interests and investments of mining companies are effectively represented in discussions with government authorities.

As a longstanding participant in Mali’s mining sector, B2Gold values open dialogue and strong partnerships with industry stakeholders. We thank Mr. Togola and the CT-CMM delegation for the visit and look forward to continuing to work together to support a strong and sustainable mining sector in Mali.
