Every industry has its event that brings everyone together.

For smart home integration, that's CEDIA Expo.

Each year, manufacturers, integrators, designers and industry leaders come together to explore new technology, share ideas and see where the industry is heading next. The 2026 event takes place in Denver from September 1-4 and brings together more than 300 exhibitors, education sessions and hands-on product demonstrations.

Ten years ago, finding the right technician wasn't going to happen through a job advert.

So, Pure Image's President took a slightly more... unconventional approach.

After spotting a well known home AV company's service van, he introduced himself to the technician inside and pitched an opportunity on the spot.

That technician? Christian.

He politely said he'd think about it... and never called.

A few weeks later, fate intervened. Another service van. Another chance encounter. And, somehow, it was Christian again.

This time, Christian's response was even better.

He sent his mate Kevin to join Pure Image first 😂

Six months later, Christian finally made the move himself.

Fast forward 10 years, and he's become one of the people who defines what Pure Image is all about ❤️

Christian, thank you for everything you've brought to the team over the past decade. Your hard work, professionalism and commitment have helped shape the business into what it is today.
