If your company is a person, how would you like it to be perceived?

What does your brand stand for?

We like what Lisa said in our most recent 2015 Vision Casting Series Feature Replay:

"I thought about Stonz as even a person or a character or a thing - like the strength behind it: the quality, the authenticity, being genuine, being courageous, not afraid to say something as long as it was well-meant."

Commitment to integrity precedes excellence. What does your brand stand for? :)

How do you market a specific niche?

Product Education.

Walk through the Stonz Wear story with founder Lisa Will on Jumping the Gap's recent episode: http://bit.ly/1A6uleQ

As Lisa purposefully points out:

"For instance, for our products, we really realized that it was much harder going into a retailer who, in some cases, some of them never even had children. Some were far out of the child-rearing stage, so we sort back up and then thought about an organic strategy.

So we really went and focused on consumer retail shows. They're a lot more work. They're very costly, 'cause you're sitting there day in and day out and you're talking to one person at a time.

But we knew with our product, it would take education."

The team's efforts have definitely paid off as Stonz Wear's global market has widened to over 9 countries worldwide, delivering high quality products continuously.

Janet Nixon, owner of Allworld Packaging Supplies, is our guest in Jumping the Gap. A solid commitment to teamwork and accountability are two of the most important keys in the growth of her company.

As Janet shares on how they continue to provide quality service:

"I've known from history that anything you track, you automatically improve just 'cause you look at it. So we actually post the error rate at the end of each month now on the wall at shipping. So that everyone knows, even the customers who come in can see what the error rate is."

Numbers give a wonderful gauge of what the company currently looks like and what areas it needs growth in - so that it can move to the 2.0 space.

Jill Lublin is unflinchingly real about how she went from being shy when she was younger to becoming confident to face literally a hundred thousand people. Her secret?

"So one of my success secrets is that I've always gotten coaching, training and mentoring to work with people who would help me."

Her successful strategies for publicity and networking have been shared in the stages of Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Richard Simmons, among many others. Platform-building through her Publicity Crash Course live events and online programs like her Coffee Chat have played an integral role in sustaining her success as a master publicity strategist who continues to increase the bottom line results for her clients.

Through it all, Jill stays humble and never forgets the memory of seeing her big poster for Guerrilla Publicity in one of the Barnes and Noble store. As Jill recalls, "I still have it hanging in my office to remind me how far I've come, and what I've had to go through. Yes – that it's scary; so that I always understand my clients and how they feel 'cause I've been through it. I know what it's like, and I'm scared too. I think it's a natural, human tendency to be a little bit afraid. And that's why we have the people around us to support us, to remind us, to grow us."
