Andrew van Egmond (ontwerp van tuin en landschap) ontwerp van tuin en landschap In mijn tuinontwerpen ga ik steeds op zoek naar een samenspel tussen weelderig groen en architectuur.

Naar een balans tussen het spontane van de natuur en minimalistische architectonische ingrepen, waardoor de grenzen tussen de woning en haar omgeving vervagen. Ik wil mensen de schoonheid van het verwilderende landschap laten ervaren. Zodat de verbinding met hun leefomgeving versterkt.

Erg leuk dat ik heb mogen meewerken aan de rijke editie van Groen Bouwen Nederland. Een samenwerkingsverband tussen CG Concept en De Bloeimeesters. In dit geval heb ik het voorwoord mogen schrijven.
Over hoe we kunnen kiezen voor een een observerende benadering, in plaats van een controlerende benadering. Over leren van oude culturen en over Landschapsarchitectuur als startpunt.

After two years of designing and preparing for construction and 15 months of building we finally moved into our new home in this pristine and amazing location in BC Canada ... It was intense and stressful but it was all worth it!

The concept behind the design / architecture is all about fitting in the landscape and experiencing the landscape in all its drama..
