We're thrilled to introduce , a Helsinki-based design house founded in 2021.

Pine is at the heart of everything Vaarnii makes, sourced from sustainably managed Finnish forests and crafted by a network of local factories and workshops. In lighting, its signature Hans collection comes from the original designs of Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, which Vaarnii acquired and re-engineered for a new era, alongside pieces such as the Hoop Table Lamp by John Tree.

Can a lamp be shaped by the object it replaced?
Beat took its form from the traditional water vessels of Northern India, created to give local metalworkers a new use for their skills. Unbeaten is its evolution, made in the same factory in Moradabad, where aluminium is spun and brushed by hand and left in its raw state.

What a weekend at

We were pleased to be a part of IDS 2026, which brought together innovation, community and expertise. At Illuminate, we presented the Ipoli collection from , the Montreal studio known for approaching light through both craftsmanship and material.

, a Vancouver Island maker, showcased his Linea+ collection of pendants and floor lights in the coveted VIP Booth next to the centre stage.

‘Check In’ by gave us a moment to reflect on how much we plug in in our daily lives, and whether we should take more time to unplug. Their cozy space featured the Dixon Jack portable collection.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and special thanks to Sébastien Panouille of for curating this inspiring section. Thank you for creating a space that keeps design conversations alive in Vancouver.

Founded in 2010 by Samuel Lambert, the Montreal studio is built on a quiet devotion to craft — every fixture handmade in its own atelier, with proprietary LED technology developed to hold the warmth of incandescent light.

Phantom takes the silhouette of an archetypal chandelier and lets it dissolve, a steel skeleton wrapped in close, silkworm-like threads of semi-transparent resin until only a soft, ivory echo of the original form remains. The result is an indirect, diffused light that fills a room with warmth rather than glare.
