Solace by Ross Gardam

Solace is a luminous glass tear that transforms with movement, revealing two distinct identities in light and form. The composition is built on a simple geometric idea — two perpendicular, intersecting circles — pushed through a series of experiments that stretch the boundaries of traditional glassblowing.

Designed and hand-assembled in Melbourne, each hand-blown glass shade develops its own subtle texture through the blowing process, paired with a finely detailed brass body in brushed natural, bronzed, or blackened brass. Available as pendant and table lamp, from a single suspended form to layered clusters.

A continued exploration of materiality, craftsmanship and contemporary Australian design.

Where does the object end and the space begin?

Liminal exists in the threshold, a floating silhouette suspended by a trio of central support rods, its balance a study in restraint. Independently switched uplight and downlight allow for layered atmospheric control within a single fixture, while a modular lap joint detail sharpens its architectural profile.

Node by Anony

Designed by Christian Lo, the Node Chandelier plays with the language of circles — a glass sphere tracing its perimeter through a steel cylinder.

Node was part of Soft Structure, a collaborative exhibition at WANTED within ICFF New York Design Week, bringing together five female-led Canadian studios — Anony, Mary Ratcliffe Studio, The Goodman Studio, Maha Alavi Studio, and Simone Ferkul Projects — exploring how subtle gestures in form and material shape the way we experience space.

Inside a space that had not held an audience in decades.
We took part in an interesting exhibition for Design Victoria 2026 - an immersive hifi experience inside the historic Round Room.
