p artist in England, where she is originally from. She enjoyed working with her makeup teacher on Opera sets in Birmingham City before dreaming bigger and making an international leap. Since moving to Canada and graduating as a top featured artist from Blanche Macdonald, Faye has grown one of Canada’s largest agencies that hosts over a 100 talented Makeup and Hair Artists across the country, opened doors to Primp & Proper salon in the heart of Gastown, as well as launched Faye Smith Academy, an online platform for professional artists. She is trained by multiple internationally known schools and artists including the Tatiana Hair Beauty Academy who teaches the Georgiy Kot hair art methods. She is also trained with Kevin Murphy Academy, Moroccan Oil Academy, Ulyana Aster, and Artistry by V. Faye Smith Agency was the local round winner of the Hair Styling and Beauty and Makeup category for Vancouver and the Lower Mainland at the International Wedding Awards. Faye and her team have also won and continue to win a multitude of contests and awards including Wedding Wire Couples Choice Awards, BC Wedding Awards, Modern Basic Beauty Contest and more. Faye has been a beauty educator since 2015, training new and established artists the ways of the industry, as well as leading private and group lessons for her clients.
