𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤❔

My lovely bride is getting married in about a month and brought with her the season's most popular hair accessory - a sparkly vine. To test out our options, I quickly looped it and created a halo with the intention of cutting the vine to size on her wedding day. She had the brilliant suggestion that we take the extra length and dangle them, blending it with her gentle curls.

Which ponytail?

I thought I would post a lot more in the summer but it's been busier than I thought possible.
I haven't actually done a ponytail for a wedding this season but I think it's going to be more popular in the upcoming years 😊

Tip: To make sure your ponytail is voluminous and thick, throw in some real hair extensions that matches your colouring.

Like many couples experienced this past two years, this wedding had a different plan. A year after the original date, they got married in an intimate ceremony in their 'backyard'. Our bride is so talented and positive, creating the most gorgeous rustic backdrop a stone's throw from their home. And what a westcoast dream wedding it turned out to be 🧡

⚪ P e a r l s ⚪

Okay, those two are a tad aggressive but there weren't many options.
Fashion really has a way of coming back. Pearls are always known to be sophisticated and timeless but it's usually associated with formal wear. Recently, I've noticed strings of pearls worn with t-shirts and jeans. It's making a huge comeback! I might have gone overboard with this braided halo crown updo but I'm not sorry because I'm loving it! Would you rock these pearl hairpins?

Recognize this look? I actually did almost the exact same thing in an earlier post with natural black hair (minus the bun) and you can see that even though both hair are dark, the one with highlights/balayage shows more texture. It's important when looking for inspiration photos that you consider if the colour and hair type is similar to your hair.

BTW a low back dress + updo = s u p e r c l a s s y 😻

T w i s t e d H a l f U p

As I'm sweating through my clothes during this heat wave, I'm definitely leaning towards an updo just to get my hair off my neck 🥵 Thankfully, Vancouver weather is rarely this hot and everyone looks good with flowy hair falling on their shoulders and framing their face.

Put my own 'twist' on this style inspired by 😉

Now you've probably seen this a few times but I'm still in love with it. Any time I get an opportunity be creative, I dive right in because though I love bridal, this is my expression of art. Recently I've been really inspired by and her bright beauty looks. Props to my family for waiting by the windy cold ocean while I worked on this shoot 😘😘😘

M O D E R N

Remember the French twist? Classy but a bit old school. This modern take on it looks more whimsical and you can accessorize both sides so it looks good from any angle. I mighty have gotten a big carried away with the size 😁

Anyone would wear dandelions on their big day? Those pesky weeds has to be good for something.
