You can be great at running a business and still have no one to turn to when it starts feeling like too much. ⚠️

Maybe you’re the one approving the decisions, holding the client history, watching the cash flow, managing the team, and making sure the business keeps moving without letting the rest of your life disappear underneath it.

You don’t have to figure all of that out alone.

On September 24, we’re hosting a complimentary, two-hour online Wealth Building in Balance™ Women’s Business Mentorship Session.

You’ll sit alongside entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial women navigating similar seasons of business and leadership, with access to mentors who bring decades of lived business and life experience into the room.

You’ll explore the patterns that emerge as responsibility grows, learn more about the Self Managing Business model, and have space to ask the questions you may not have anywhere else to ask.

Come with a challenge that’s keeping you stuck.

Megan Shallow can travel for weeks at a time while her business, BNL Media Consulting, continues to run. đź’™

That outcome was built through a series of operational and leadership changes that reduced how much the business depended on her direct involvement.

The work involved looking closely at where decisions stalled, where knowledge lived only in her head, where the team still relied on her judgment, and where her availability had become part of how the business functioned.

As those patterns changed, more ownership could move into the business itself.

The team became more capable of making decisions. Day-to-day work continued without constant founder oversight. Megan gained the ability to step away for longer periods without the business slowing down or pulling her back in.

The results extended beyond operations.

She is on track to purchase her first home. She is more present, and continues to deepen her relationships with her partner, family, and friends. And along the way, she has had the unconditional support of 17+ women mentors who believe in her as she takes risks, learns new tools, makes important decisions, and continues to discover just how powerful she truly is.

Her story shows what a Self Managing Business can make possible when stronger systems, clearer ownership, and experienced mentorship are developed together.

It is possible to have it all. And if you’ve ever wondered what that could look like for you, let us help you map it out.

If your business could rely less on your constant involvement, what would you want that freedom to make possible? đź’«

You’ve taken the courses. You have the worksheets. You probably have a few half-finished modules sitting in a login somewhere, too.

But when a real business problem shows up, the answer is rarely waiting in Module 14.

You’re deciding whether to hire, how to handle a team member who keeps bringing decisions back to you, why revenue is growing, but profit isn’t, or whether the business you’ve built still matches what you actually want.

Those decisions require context, conversation, and experienced judgment.

That’s how we work inside Living In Balance™.

Series One gives you live virtual sessions, ongoing group calls, 1-on-1 mentorship when you need it, and a confidential community where you can bring the real business issue into the room.

We look at what’s happening, what you may be missing, and what makes sense for the business and life you’re building.

You hired people, documented a few processes, and delegated plenty of tasks… yet somehow you’re still the person everyone needs. ⚠️

You approve the expense. You answer the client's question. You remember the details nobody wrote down. You check the work before it goes out. And when you take a few days off, you keep one eye on your email “just in case.”

That’s useful information about how your business is currently built.

A Self Managing Business has three things working together: processes people can follow, clear boundaries around the decisions they can make, and enough ownership that work keeps moving when you aren’t available.

Because if every road still leads back to you, your team may be doing more of the work, but you’re still carrying the business.

Try the 4-part audit in this carousel. If you identified with fewer than two, there’s likely an opportunity to restructure how work, decisions, and responsibility move through your business.

Curious about whether Wealth Building in Balance could help you build a business that supports your life instead of consuming it? Complete our short application at libseminars.com to start the conversation and see if we’re a fit.

You were not meant to build a business by working past your limits, overextending yourself to everyone around you, and staying permanently “on.” ⚠️

Yet that is the version of success many women believe in: work hard, prove yourself, be available, keep going when you are tired, and trust that all that effort will eventually create the life you wanted.

Then you find yourself wondering why you are working this hard and still feel so far from it.

Part of the answer is understanding the balance between Hard Work and Soft Work.

Hard Work is ex*****on. It is serving the client, making the sale, reviewing the numbers, managing the project, and getting things done.

Soft Work is where you step out of ex*****on long enough to think strategically, spot patterns, listen to your intuition, notice where you are overcommitting, and make decisions that are actually aligned with where you want to go.

And the benefits reach beyond the business.

Soft Work develops self-awareness. It strengthens your judgment and empathy. It helps you understand your relationship with money, boundaries, trust, control, and responsibility. All of that changes the way you lead.

People sometimes say building a business is like going through therapy. There is some truth in that. Business has a way of holding up a mirror to the areas where you still have room to grow, often at an accelerated pace.

These are the conversations our Living In Balance™ mentors have with women every day, because building a Self Managing Business involves the woman behind the business, too.

Save this for the next time working harder feels like the only answer. đź’™

Most women entrepreneurs are taught to think about growth in terms of more: more clients, more hours, more responsibility, and eventually, more of themselves holding it all together.

At Living In Balance™, we believe a growing business should create more room in your life, too.

That is why our work is anchored in these three core foundations:

đź’¸ Scale with Confidence

Know your numbers, understand what is actually driving profit, and make strategic decisions with clarity. As the business grows, the goal is to create more leverage so growth does not always require more of your time.

đź’« Thrive in Balance

Your business should leave room for the life you are building alongside it. Your energy, relationships, priorities, and peace of mind belong in the conversation when you are deciding what growth looks like for you.

đź’™ Grow with Support

Running a business can get lonely when you are expected to have all of the answers. Trusted mentorship and a confidential community give you a place to talk honestly about what is happening, work through the hard decisions, and learn alongside women who understand the responsibility you carry.

Together, these foundational topics help you build a Self Managing Business that supports where you want to go without asking you to sacrifice yourself to get there.

Which one needs the most attention in your business right now: confidence, balance, or support? Tell us in the comments.

One of the most useful questions to ask as a business owner is: How is my income actually being created?

There are four stages worth understanding:

💫 Employee → You work for others.

💫 Self-Employed → You are the system.

💫 CEO → Systems and people work for you.

💫 Wealth Steward → Money and assets work for you.

Many women have been taught to grow by increasing revenue, working harder, hiring more people, and taking on more responsibility. That can build a successful business while leaving income closely tied to the founder’s time and involvement.

Moving through these four stages requires a different approach to cash flow, systems, people, debt, assets, and the role of the founder.

This is where a Self Managing Business becomes important. It creates the bridge between running the business and building an asset that can create value beyond your direct input.

This carousel breaks down the four stages, the cash-flow patterns behind them, and what has to change as you move toward becoming a Wealth Steward.

Worth saving, especially if you are thinking seriously about what you want your business to build for you over the next decade. đź’™

You want your team to take more ownership, but somehow you are still answering every question, checking the work, and stepping in when something feels off. ⚠️

It makes sense. You care about the business you have built, and doing it yourself often feels faster.

But over time, your team learns to wait for you.

At some point, building a Self Managing Business means giving people the clarity, trust, and room to move without you being the final stop every time.

Save this for the next time you catch yourself saying, “It’s just easier if I do it myself.” 💙

What if the way you’ve been measuring success is the very thing exhausting you?

For so many of us, success can become tied to how much we can carry, how long we can keep going, and how often we can put ourselves last without letting anything fall apart. Over time, that can start to feel normal, even when it no longer feels good.

At Living in Balance™, we support women in building businesses that create freedom from the inside out. Through honest conversations, experienced mentorship, and practical business structure, we help you create infrastructure within to bring forward the success that supports your life instead of asking you to sacrifice it.

If you're new here, welcome. If this way of building resonates with you, you're in the right place.

Follow us for more conversations about building wealth, freedom, and a business that lives in balance. Then tell us: what does success look like to you now? đź’™
