Anna Gorman and I are doing a TED talk at ! (insert nervous laugh here)

Over the last 16 years Drawing it Out has helped teams and communities navigate complex challenges together.

On Nov 3, 2026 we’ll be sharing how visual thinking can take people from talking past each other to building truly meaningful connection.

The best part? You don’t need to be an "artist" to do it.
We’ll show you how everyone can use simple drawing basics to transform how we connect as individuals, teams, and groups.

Hearing Clara speak so honestly and from the heart about her mental health struggles — and how even winning Olympic medals didn’t fix all her problems — was incredibly powerful.

Her humility, honesty, and passion were such an important reminder that taking care of our mental health matters. Everyone loved seeing the incredible live graphic recordings come together throughout the event — so much creativity, storytelling, and ink capturing these meaningful conversations. 💛✍️🎨
