A very cool way to step inside a home before it’s even built.

Today we walked through the plans at full scale with our clients and the architect, moving room by room and experiencing the layout in a completely different way. There’s something so valuable about standing inside the footprint, feeling the distance between spaces, and noticing how you’ll actually move through the home day to day.

And here we are, standing right in front of their future front door. One of those little moments that suddenly makes the whole project feel very real.

It’s these moments of collaboration that help turn drawings into something much more tangible and make space for the small adjustments that can have a big impact later.

A thoughtful home starts long before the finishes are chosen. WalkOn Plans Lineform Architecture Inc.

This curved niche was a must for this client, and it became one of those quiet details that gives the whole room its rhythm.
It softens the clean lines of the shower while creating a small moment of discovery within the tilework.
The herringbone pattern inside adds just enough movement, catching the eye without asking for too much attention.
A slim ledge keeps the everyday essentials close at hand, so the beauty of the space still supports the way it is actually lived in.
Paired with soft brass, pale stone, and warm wood, the room feels calm, collected, and deeply personal.
Sometimes the details clients feel most strongly about are the ones that bring the most soul to a space.

There is something quietly comforting about a kitchen that knows how to hold both beauty and daily life. The fluted oak island brings in a softness that keeps all the clean lines from feeling too sharp, while the warm brass details catch the light in a way that feels subtle and inviting. I love how the herringbone tile adds movement without asking for too much attention. Even the pendant lights feel like little moments of sculpture overhead, grounding the room and giving it a gentle rhythm. This is the kind of space that makes morning coffee feel calmer and dinner prep feel a little more connected. Thoughtful design is often less about one big statement and more about all the small choices working together

There’s a quiet kind of delight in a space that holds a little secret. At first glance, this dining room feels grounded and calm, anchored by that warm wood table and the soft rhythm of the vertical slat wall behind it. But look a little closer, and you’ll notice how seamlessly that wall opens—revealing a hidden pantry tucked just out of sight.

It’s one of those details that shifts how the space is lived in. Everything you need is within reach, but never on display, allowing the room to stay clear and settled even in the middle of a busy day. The texture of the wood invites your hand to trace along it, while quietly doing the work of concealment.

Overhead, the sculptural pendants bring a softness and glow that balance the structure, adding just enough playfulness to the room. And together, it all creates a dining space that feels both composed and deeply functional, designed not just to be seen, but to be experienced over time.
