It’s been a while since I introduced myself, and with so much happening this fall, this feels like a good time.

Hi, I’m Jen.

I’m an award-winning Financial Advisor, keynote speaker, author, and founder of Thaker Financial Inc. and the Women & Wealth Network.

At Thaker Financial, I work with business owners and professionals to create financial plans that support the lives they actually want to live. I believe a financial plan is an act of self-care and self-love, and that safety and security create freedom.

I’m also the founder of Women & Wealth, an invite-only community that has grown to almost 500 women in business, professionals, and entrepreneurs. It’s a space for meaningful conversations, genuine connection, and a community where every woman has a voice.

And this fall, I get to add something new: published author.

My first book, The Big Beautiful Life: Five Key Principles for Creating a Life by Design, is coming this October.

At the heart of all of these things is really the same idea: creating a life by design. Knowing who you are, knowing what you value, and making choices that support the life you want to live.

Women & Wealth | August Lunch ✨

Our theme was Health, Wealth, and Time, based on Chapter 12 of my upcoming book The Big Beautiful Life.

I had the honour of delivering the keynote starting with Health is Wealth. Health is physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic (and money is energy).

We shared some of our first money memories (I’m still laughing at some of these stories).

I spoke about what actually gets in women’s way when it comes to having a financial plan, about building your financial foundation, because that is what makes the big beautiful life possible and why true freedom is about having choice (money gives you options you may not otherwise have).

Money a goal or a destination. It’s the tool to living a life by design. A life with choice!

Women & Wealth | August Lunch ✨

Money is Energy. And Health is Wealth.

Health is physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic. And money is energy too. These are teachings at the heart of my upcoming book, The Big Beautiful Life.

This August at the Thaker Financial Inc. Women & Wealth Lunch, I’ll be speaking about money. I’ll be covering what gets in women’s way, the top four reasons why women don’t have a financial plan or a financial advisor on their team, the key components of a solid financial plan, and our relationship with money as energy itself.

Because the planning isn’t actually what holds most people back. It’s all the reasons why you haven’t done it yet. And once you’re ready, there are resources available to you to explore what fits your life. The real question becomes why you’d delay knowing where your money is, what it’s doing, and what choice it actually gives you.

The most important thing about money isn’t always the number. It’s freedom, it’s having choices.

Thaker Financial’s Women & Wealth | July Lunch ✨

Our theme was celebration, because there’s always something to celebrate!

Keynote speaker Mallory Meyer LEADERSHIP & NEUROCOACH + REIKI MASTER TEACHER🐺 founder of White Wolf Reiki, Psychic Medium and Somatic Coach, brought the magic, and encouraged each of us to write down our ‘brag list’. There’s something so important about learning to celebrate ourselves too. We’re often so great at celebrating each other but push it away when it’s for ourselves. In this room, guided by Mal, we celebrated ourselves and each other!

I read from my book, The Big Beautiful Life, for the first time! The key to celebration, I believe, begins with the first of my five key principles, gratitude. I’m so grateful to have finished writing my first book, and to have had this opportunity to read from ‘The Magic and The $hit’ from the introduction.

Because that’s what life is, there’s always some $hit happening, but your perspective helps you to still find the joy and the magic in the moment.

I was recovering from a concussion, barely able to stand, yet my heart was so full to be in this room with these amazing women. We can do hard things, and showing up for this lunch in pain was actually not that hard. So grateful for everyone in the room that chose to support me, rally around me and hold me up when it got hard to stand. We celebrated with cake, and each woman went home with a gift inspired by a piece of my own story from the book.

Women & Wealth | July Lunch ✨

Our July lunch is already full! This one is a celebration.

We’re celebrating each other and our successes from the first half of the year. We’re celebrating the much awaited ISBN for my book The Big Beautiful Life (its ’birth certificate’). And we’re celebrating my 45th birthday, a milestone I was once told I might never reach after a critical illness in my 20s.

I’m so excited to have Mallory Meyer Mallory Meyer back with us as our keynote speaker. Mallory is the founder of White Wolf Reiki, a Reiki Master Teacher, Psychic Medium and Somatic Coach. Her keynote is on Celebration and it’s a special one. One I’ve heard before and can’t wait to share with the women and wealth network next week. We’re in for a treat.
