We order seafood from a local family-owned business. They connect with fisher people locally and make it convenient for us to order online with delivery to our door. This is one of our homemade sashimi bowls, made with their delicious seafood ingredients!

Rice is the foundation:
Teva was a champ, fanning the hot sushi rice wildly while I seasoned it. This dish is a tribute of thanks for the cooking lessons from mama-san and papa-san who 'adopted' me into their family when I was living in Japan, decades ago 💜

We have been busy!! By "we", I mean Steve, of course 😆... He painted the island house and it looks AWESOME!
It feels great to refresh and tidy, with the sunshine and breezes from the bay flowing through. 🌿

When we say online business is flexible, what could that actually look like?...🤓
The amazing car dealership service manager at North Shore Kia offered me the use of a private office space so I could host a coaching call to South Africa, while I wait for my electric car to be serviced.🤩
