Bosch Dishwasher E06 Error Code Repair

This Bosch dishwasher was displaying an E06 error code and would not operate properly.

Our technician diagnosed the door sensing circuit and found the actual problem: a broken wire connected to the door sensor system. Because of the damaged wire, the dishwasher could not properly detect the door status, triggering the E06 error.

Instead of replacing components unnecessarily, our technician repaired the damaged wiring and restored the electrical connection. After the repair, the dishwasher was tested and the E06 error was resolved.

This is a good example of why an error code is a starting point for diagnosis, not always a direct indication that a specific part needs to be replaced.

Old GE fridge not cooling properly in Vancouver.

Our technician found a failed evaporator fan along with significant ice buildup around the evaporator area. Ice buildup can restrict airflow and interfere with the fan, potentially contributing to fan damage and poor cooling performance.

The area was serviced, the failed evaporator fan was replaced, and proper airflow and cooling were restored.

If a refrigerator is running but not staying cold, checking the evaporator fan and looking for abnormal ice buildup are important parts of the diagnosis.

Built-In Dacor Fridge Door Error Repair in Vancouver

Our technician worked on a large built-in Dacor refrigerator in Vancouver that was showing a door sensor error.

During the repair, we found that the issue was not just the sensor. There were broken wires affecting the door sensor circuit. The damaged wiring was repaired, the system was tested, and the refrigerator returned to proper operation without unnecessary part replacement.

Proper diagnosis is especially important with built-in refrigerators, where replacing parts without confirming the actual cause can quickly make a repair more expensive.

Huebsch Commercial Washer & Dryer Service in Vancouver

Our technician recently serviced four large Huebsch commercial washers and dryers in a Vancouver residential building.

The dryers received professional cleaning and maintenance to help maintain proper airflow and reliable drying performance. The Huebsch washers also had several issues that required repair, including a faulty coin acceptance mechanism. Coins were being inserted, but the machine would not properly register the payment or start.

Our technician replaced the faulty component, resolved the other issues, and restored proper operation of the commercial laundry equipment.

Regular maintenance is especially important for high-use shared laundry equipment in residential buildings.

This LG top-load washer was making a loud noise during operation. After inspecting the washer, our technician found that the coupling assembly was faulty and causing the excessive noise.

The damaged coupling assembly was replaced with a new one, and the washer was tested afterward to confirm proper operation. The repair restored smooth, quiet operation without the need to replace the appliance.

If an LG washer suddenly becomes louder than normal, grinding, knocking, or unusual mechanical noises can indicate a worn or damaged component. Having the issue diagnosed early can help prevent additional damage to other parts of the washer.

EasyFix Appliance Repair recently replaced a damaged washer door gasket for a customer in West Vancouver. A worn, torn, or moldy gasket can lead to water leaks and prevent the washer door from sealing properly.

One simple way to help prevent mold from developing on a front-load washer gasket is to leave the door slightly open after each wash. This allows air to circulate and helps the gasket and inside of the washer dry completely. Closing the door while moisture is still trapped inside creates the damp environment where mold and odors can develop.

Regularly wiping moisture and detergent residue from the gasket can also help keep it clean and extend its lifespan.

A Whirlpool dryer that stopped turning turned out to have a broken drum belt. Our technician replaced the damaged belt, cleaned and serviced the inside of the dryer, and tested the unit to make sure the drum was turning and the dryer was operating properly again.

There was also an unexpected bonus for the customer. During the cleaning, we found a surprising amount of coins that had made their way inside the dryer. A little cash back from the repair!

Coins and other items left in clothing pockets can make their way into areas where they can cause noise, block moving components, or damage parts inside the dryer. Checking pockets before doing laundry is a simple habit that can help prevent unnecessary dryer repairs.

Regular internal cleaning can also help remove accumulated lint and debris, allowing the dryer to operate safely and efficiently.

A leaking washer can quickly turn into water damage if the source isn’t addressed.

Our technician recently repaired a washer in North Vancouver that was leaking water from the door. Inspection found a tear in the door gasket, allowing water to escape during operation.

The damaged gasket was replaced with a new one, and the washer was tested afterward to confirm proper operation. No more leaking, and the washer is back in service.

A torn or worn door gasket is a common cause of leaks in front-load washers. If you notice water around the front of your washer, checking the gasket for tears, cracks, or damage is a good place to start.

An older dryer in North Vancouver was taking much longer than normal to dry clothes. Instead of assuming the dryer needed to be replaced, our technician checked the airflow and found that the vent system needed a thorough cleaning.

We performed a full dryer vent cleaning to remove the buildup restricting airflow. With proper airflow restored, the dryer was able to exhaust moisture effectively and return to normal drying operation.

If your dryer is taking multiple cycles to dry a load, the problem may not be the dryer itself. Restricted venting can increase drying times, waste energy, and put unnecessary strain on the appliance. Regular vent maintenance also helps reduce lint buildup and keeps the dryer operating safely.

A Kenmore washer that won’t drain can leave water sitting in the tub and stop the laundry cycle completely.

Our technician diagnosed this washer and found that the drain pump had failed, preventing the machine from properly removing water. After replacing the faulty drain pump, we tested the washer to confirm it was draining correctly and operating as it should.

The washer is back in service and the customer can use it normally again.
