On this job, the customer noticed water pooling inside the fridge near the water filter area. A lot of people assume it is the filter itself or a clogged drain line, but our technician traced it to a cracked filter housing. The housing had failed at the seal, so every time the system pulled water for the dispenser and ice maker, a small amount escaped behind the filter and ran down the interior wall.
