Skeena was proud to support the Cultural and Literacy Camp in Glenora this summer, bringing families together to connect with the land, learn from one another and take part in activities that celebrate and carry forward Tahltan culture and traditions. Thank you to everyone who makes this camp possible and creates these opportunities for families and future generations.

This past National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Skeena had the opportunity to attend events across Northwest BC, including a pole-raising ceremony in Hagwilget. In addition to participating in events in the Hazeltons, Smithers, and Witset, Skeena also sponsored the Orange Shirt Day event in Dease Lake.

Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation gives our teams a dedicated opportunity to deepen our understanding by learning from Indigenous voices and creating space for meaningful conversations. We take these learnings beyond our workplaces and recognize the importance of understanding the history and experiences connected to the people and land around us.

Skeena had a blast at the Smithers Exploration Group Golf Tournament last week! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined in on the fun photoshoot, and helped make it such a great day. We’re proud to support the Smithers Exploration Group and the work they do to bring the community together.

Skeena was proud to sponsor the Soga Ast'e Tahltan Running Team, who took on the Klondike Road Relay from Carcross to Whitehorse. Big congratulations to the participants for completing their first marathon and finishing with just two minutes to spare!
