The conversations have started..

This morning we kicked off the Vancouver Business Owner Roundtable Series for 2026.

Around the table were a select group of accomplished business owners and trusted advisors engaging in something that is often missing from the entrepreneurial journey:

Real conversations.

Not networking.
Not presentations.
Not sales pitches.

Just honest dialogue about leadership, growth, succession, value creation, legacy, and what comes next.

As businesses mature, owners begin asking different questions:

• How dependent is the business on me?
• What is my company really worth?
• Am I building a business that can thrive without me?
• What does a successful transition look like?
• How do I protect my legacy while maximizing value?

These are important conversations, yet many owners wait too long to have them.

The owners who create the strongest outcomes tend to start early. They surround themselves with the right advisors, learn from peers who have walked similar paths, and take deliberate action long before a transition becomes urgent.

That’s exactly why we created this series.

Each roundtable combines:

Business Coaching Isn’t About Having the Answers, It’s About Asking Better Questions.

Too often, we rush to “fix the problem.”

As advisors, we’re wired to solve. But when we jump straight to solutions, we miss the most powerful part of the process: getting curious.

- Curious about the real root causes behind the surface-level issues.
- Curious about what’s really holding the owner back.

What. A. Night.

After a full day of networking with purpose-driven professionals across Vancouver, I had the absolute honour of attending the 17th Annual Mission Possible Gala, and what an unforgettable evening it was!

Surrounded by incredible people and powerful stories, we came together to support a cause that’s truly changing lives. Together, we raised an astounding $367,812 (and counting!) to support individuals transitioning out of poverty and homelessness, offering them coaching, training, and meaningful employment within the very community they call home.

Mission Possible is proof that when we come together with heart and purpose, transformation happens, not only for individuals, but for entire communities.

I feel so grateful to now call Vancouver home, and to be building a tribe of high-impact professionals who are committed to growth, contribution, and legacy.

First time at BNI, what an incredible morning!

Today, I had the privilege of being a guest at the BNI Big Tsunami chapter in Vancouver, one of the largest and most impactful chapters in Canada.

A huge thank you to Paul Simmons, CAIB, Insurance Consultants , my corporate insurance broker, for the invitation, and to Richard Sehmer of Coal Harbour Law for sharing the table with me.

This group left a lasting impression.
🔹 Millions in referrals generated annually.
🔹 Tangible impact across industries.
🔹 A culture of measurable performance, shared values, and real accountability.
🔹 And most importantly, they don’t just talk business. They do business.

This morning served as a powerful reminder:
