The H. Upmann Robusto Añejado size is not part of the standard H. Upmann portfolio. They have been aged in Cuba, in perfect conditions of preservation, between 5 and 8 years. Through the ageing process, the ci**rs have become rounder and mellower to the palate, getting touches of wood taste, thanks to the years of rest with the cedar protecting it. Health Canada is planning to bring in plain packaging for ALL to***co products in Canada, including premium ci**rs and pipe to***co. This means that every cigar and pipe to***co tin or pouch would be stripped of their original packaging, to be replaced with the packaging seen in the photo below.

This is a HUGE problem for cigar and pipe to***co consumers in Canada because:
• The cost of ci**rs in Canada will increase (again) due to substantial repackaging costs.
• The counterfeiting and black market activities will flourish even more. Plain packaging is great for illicit markets, TERRIBLE for retailers and Canadian consumers.
• Consumers will face massive confusion about product origin, authenticity and quality.
• Product availability will diminish. Many manufacturers will simply opt out of selling into Canada.

Health Canada is censoring a product that has already been forced out of public view of minors. We will be paying even MORE taxes for enforcement and implementation of this law - and for products that are OVERWHELMINGLY consumed by legal adults.

Let's defeat this senseless, freedom-crushing legislation together. Health Canada's consultation period ends on August 31st. Make your voice heard now!
