Over a decade has gone into building the infrastructure behind HealthTab, and our recently announced agreement as Abbott's exclusive pharmacy-channel partner for NHS ICB-commissioned POCT represents the start of a significant new chapter.

This collaboration with an industry-leading partner formalizes a framework with an initial three-year term for supporting the continued expansion of pharmacy testing programmes—combining complementary expertise and resources for continued scale in the UK.

We're extremely proud of how far the model has come and look forward to what we can continue to build from here.

We're pleased to announce that NHS England has confirmed the national expansion of the HealthTab-powered Barts Health pharmacy cholesterol testing programme.

Under plans to reduce heart disease and stroke deaths by a quarter within the next decade, our seven-minute tests will be available to eligible patients at approximately 100 participating pharmacies as part of a national rollout to spot “ticking timebombs” earlier.

This agreement represents our most significant milestone to date: HealthTab has entered into a multi-year collaboration with Abbott Laboratories to supply and distribute its point-of-care testing products through the HealthTab platform across England and Wales.

Bringing together Abbott’s global leadership in rapid diagnostics with HealthTab’s pharmacy-focused platform provides a strong foundation for the continued expansion of pharmacy-based testing within the UK.
