So the media and Governments are not presenting all the facts when it comes to the seemingly great idea of allowing pharmacists to prescribe everyday mundane prescriptions.Turns out the pharmacy will be charging the individual an "accessment fee" that is not covered by Provincial Healthcare nor private insurance (in most cases). That fee of around $25 dollars is essentially privatizing our health care system in the worst way....paid by the individual! "They" are pitching it as taking some of the burden off of our over worked medical staff which while true isn't, at all, the full story! Privatization one cut at a time...spread the word!

I'm all for high speed trains however for the cost they are suggesting they could just increase the frequency and lower the cost of the existing train first..maybe a pilot for a few years to see how much demand there is between Seattle and Vancouver...the Montreal/To/Ottawa routes are great and well used because they are frequent.....
