Motherhood has made me realise how quickly we can lose ourselves trying to be everything for everyone. 🤍
The good mum. The good employee. The good wife. The one who remembers everything, shows up for everyone and somehow keeps the whole damn thing running. 😂
But I’m learning that being a good mum doesn’t mean constantly putting myself last.
I’m allowed to say no.
I’m allowed to choose my family.
I’m allowed to have boundaries.
And I’m allowed to still have dreams that belong to ME. 🌼
My kids don’t need a mum who gives every last piece of herself away.
They need me. 🤍
Still learning this one as I go.

I swear something shifted when I hit my 30s. 😂
I care a whole lot less about being liked by everyone, having everything perfectly together, explaining every decision I make or worrying about whether I look stupid trying something new.
I’m still figuring s**t out. I still overthink. I still care what people think sometimes because… human. 😂
But I’m getting way better at asking myself:
Does this actually matter to ME?
Because this is my life. And I don’t want to spend it making decisions based on everyone else’s opinions.
Less people pleasing.
Less comparing.
Less worrying about where I “should” be by now.
More doing what actually feels right for me. 🤍
Okay 30-somethings… what’s something you simply don’t give a f**k about anymore? 😂👇

12 years is a long time to give to one career.
And I think sometimes the longer we’ve done something, the harder it feels to admit… maybe I don’t want this forever.
Because then comes the guilt.
Did I waste all those years?
Am I really going to start something new now?
What will people think?
But I’m learning that changing direction doesn’t erase everything that came before it.
My 12 years as a dental assistant gave me experience, skills, resilience and taught me a hell of a lot about myself.
I can be grateful for what that chapter gave me without deciding it has to be my whole story.
Sometimes outgrowing something isn’t failure.
It’s just growth. 🌼

Imagine being able to say YES more often.
Yes to the field trip.�Yes to volunteering at school.�Yes to staying home when someone’s sick. Yes to that random Tuesday afternoon with your kids. ❤️
Not because you don’t work but because you have more flexibility around when and where you do it.
THAT was a big deal for me.
I wanted an income, but I also wanted more ownership over my time.

Maybe the beautiful life isn’t something we’re waiting to find. Maybe it’s already happening. 🤍
In the ordinary days.
The little moments.
The people we love.
The things we’re usually too busy to notice.
I think the older I get, the more I realise how quickly it all moves.
You look away for a second and somehow another season has passed, the kids are a little bigger, and moments that felt so ordinary become the ones you wish you could go back to.
So lately, I’m trying to notice more.
To look for it.
To be in it.
To remember that this is the life.
And it’s happening right now. 💗

It’s funny how easy it is to tell our kids, “It’s okay to be scared… just try.” 🤍
And then when it comes to ourselves?
We want certainty.
We want to know we’ll be good at it.
We want to know we won’t fail.
We want some kind of guarantee that taking the chance will be worth it.
That was me before starting this business.
I wasn’t scared because I didn’t see the potential. I did.
I was scared because I didn’t know if I could do it.
And looking back, I think I needed to give myself the same grace I give my kids.
Maybe fear isn’t always a sign to stop.
Sometimes it’s just what shows up when you know something needs to change, but you haven’t met the version of yourself who can do it yet.
You don’t have to feel completely ready.
Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to try. 🤍
