Maria Bonita Resource Expands Significantly
Altamira Gold has announced an independently prepared and assessed updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Maria Bonita porphyry gold deposit at the Cajueiro Project in Brazil.
Key highlights:
🔹 1.31Moz of contained gold across Indicated and Inferred Resources
🔹 25Mt @ 0.50 g/t Au Indicated, containing 403,877 oz
🔹 70Mt @ 0.41 g/t Au Inferred, containing 908,477 oz
🔹 150% increase in Inferred contained ounces and 12% increase in Indicated contained ounces versus the maiden MRE
🔹 Higher-grade sector now contains 512koz @ 0.78 g/t Au at a 0.5 g/t Au cut-off
🔹 Low calculated waste-to-mineralized-material ratio of approximately 0.4:1 within the optimized open-pit shell
🔹 Mineralization remains open to the west, south and at depth, with drilling ongoing
The continued growth at Maria Bonita, together with the existing resource at Cajueiro Central, demonstrates the expanding resource base across the Cajueiro District.
With the porphyry system continuing westward and drilling underway on the newly accessible extension, Maria Bonita remains an important growth opportunity for Altamira.
