Our Executive Chairman, Paul A. Dumas, disclosed that our technical team has identified geophysical trends at Lac Big-Rush that are similar to those observed at Iamgold's Croteau deposit, and that these trends appear to extend both to the south and to the north onto our property. He noted that Lac Big-Rush has not seen systematic exploration since the 1950s and 1980s, and that advances in exploration technology and methodology since that time create a meaningful opportunity to follow up on these identified trends.

A key observation from our technical review at Arikepay is that historical diamond drill holes in the gold-bearing diorite porphyry zone were predominantly drilled vertically, while the gold-rich structures within that zone dip at a low angle. This geometric mismatch suggests the existing holes did not intersect the gold-bearing structures at the optimal angle, indicating that the average gold grade of the mineralized envelope may have been underestimated by prior campaigns. The best historical result in the gold zone is 420 metres at 0.91 g/t gold from 30 metres in hole AK-DDH-02-17, including 81 metres at 3.17 g/t gold. This observation forms the basis of Precore Gold's exploration concept at Arikepay.

The Chibougamau mining camp, where our Lac Big-Rush property is located, has produced approximately 1.6 billion pounds of copper and 3.2 million ounces of gold from underground mines since the 1950s. Today, the district is experiencing a significant revival, anchored by IAMGOLD's Nelligan Mining Complex, one of Canada's largest pre-production gold camps, with Measured and Indicated resources of 3.75 Moz Au and Inferred resources of 8.65 Moz Au. Our Lac Big-Rush property sits approximately 32 kilometers from the town of Chibougamau, accessible year-round via Highway 113, and in a region with mature mining infrastructure.

Why does it sometimes take months between an exploration company announcing a project and the first drill hole?

One of the biggest misconceptions in junior mining is that once a company decides to drill, the rigs can simply roll onto the property. In reality, drilling is often the final step of months of planning, environmental work, permitting, and logistics.

1. Permitting
For many exploration projects, this is often the longest and least visible part of the process.
2. Target Refinement
Geologists continue refining drill targets using historical drilling, mapping, geochemistry, and geophysics. The goal isn't simply to drill. It's to drill the best targets.
3. Mobilization
Once approvals are in place, crews, drill rigs, equipment, and supplies must be transported to site, a process that can take days to weeks depending on terrain and location.

Our Lac Big-Rush Property hosts two documented historical gold showings recorded in Quebec's Sigeom database. The Tadd showing consists of a 2.3-meter-wide mineralized quartz vein followed over 50 meters of strike length, with grab samples returning 7.33 and 5.33 g/t gold. The Croteau West showing, located approximately 2.5 kilometers east of Tadd, returned a selective grab sample of 65.15 g/t gold and a channel sample of 3.0 g/t gold over 1.5 metres, collected during a 2018 Cree Mineral Exploration Board prospecting program.

We have established our operational base camp in the town of El Toro, located near our Arikepay Project in the Arequipa region of southern Peru, to support ongoing site work and community outreach activities. Our team has also refreshed the access road to the project site, which sits at 1,200 metres above sea level and is easily accessible from the Pan-American highway. El Toro sits 73 kilometres from the Port of Matarani, the principal export gateway for the region's mining output, which recently received a US$600 million infrastructure upgrade.
