We had a light run of cattle this week. The cow and bull trade was fully steady to last week. Top bulls sold were up to $320/cwt.

Be sure to go watch the Canadian High School Rodeo Finals this weekend in town, as hundreds of Canada's top young athletes compete here in Vermilion!

We had a light run again today, as many people gear up to get at their hay. Both slaughter and feeder type cows sold $5-8 back compared to last week. The bull trade remained fully steady.

We had a light seasonal run today here in Vermilion. Feeder cattle were fully steady to slightly softer. Both the feeder cow and butcher cow trade was slightly softer to fully steady. The bull trade was fully steady.

Today we traded 150 feeder cattle at steady to stronger money. The dollar dropping and the futures rallying have definitely supported the cash trade. Cows and bulls traded fully steady - cows up to 270 and bulls up to 310.

Reminder, we have NO SALE next week on July 1st. Our office will be open this Friday but closed all next week. Enjoy your Canada Day long weekend!
