High Grade Enterprises is currently looking for applicants interested in securing their 2025 summer employment as Labourer/Equipment Operators such bobcat, earthworks and general labourer working in the Vermilion/Wainwright area.

The position involves working outdoors, travelling the back country of the area and completing many earth works projects. If you are self motivated, reliable, enjoy working on a team, and are committed to a safe and positive work environment then we want to hear from you.

Qualifications
* 18 years of age or older
* Physically fit
* Valid Class 5 DL, With Clean abstract
* Standard First Aid/CPR, H2S are asset
* Bobcat and Tractor operation an asset
* Able to pass pre-employment drug screening test

This is a full-time, temporary opportunity, beginning May 2025 for a person with the right attitude who wants to grow their skill set in a demanding, challenging and rewarding industry. This position is ideally suited to summer students, but not limited to, as the scheduling coincides with summer break, typically May-September.

High Grade is a local company seeking a versatile individual for a Heavy Equipment Operator Position.

Location: Located south of Vermilion, AB approx 1/2 hour.

Essential: Hard working with strong work ethic, honest, punctual, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work independently physically demanding conditions.

Must be flexible as may be needed for possible evenings, weekends and on call.

Job requirements:

Must have experience running some or all of the following equipment:

John Deere Motor Grader with attachments

Skid Steer

Dump Truck

Back Hoe

Tractors

Pulling Trailers

Hand Tools

Preform Pretrip, post trip, walk around inspections with high attention to detail.

Assist with general maintenance, upkeep, cleaning, labour tasks and duties as needed at shop, yard, or project site.

Preform any related and/or additional duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience running heavy equipment motor grader and pulling trailers.

Will need Valid H2S, and First Aid tickets.

Will need to have strong mechanical ability to preform routine maintenance and can or willing to learn for equipment overhauls.

Ability to work independently, follow direction, and attention to detail.

Must be able to read maps and find L*D locations.

Retention of a Class 5 Drivers License with abstract.

Class 1 or 3 with air brakes would be an asset.

Ability to speak, write, and read English is required.

Able to accept direction, a positive attitude, and able to work in a team environment.

Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing.
