A big congratulations to our High Level Lumber Division on being recognized by the Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA) with its Outstanding Achievement in Health and Safety Award for 2023-2025.

This recognition reflects years of employees looking out for one another, making safe choices, and working together to ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day. We're proud of the commitment, care and teamwork that made this achievement possible.

Today, September 30, we recognize Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

It is a day to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors who continue to share their stories, and the families and communities affected by this painful chapter in Canada's history.

Reconciliation begins with listening, learning, and understanding. By taking time to reflect and deepen our understanding of Indigenous histories and experiences, we can all play a part in the ongoing journey toward truth and reconciliation.

Last week, Tolko attended the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) Convention, joining local government leaders from across British Columbia to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing communities throughout the province.

Events like UBCM provide an opportunity to connect with municipal leaders from the communities where we operate, listen to their priorities, and share perspectives on issues that matter to forestry, local economies, and community well-being.

We're proud to support municipal leaders as they advance priorities that matter most to their residents, including forestry and the economic opportunities it creates for communities across British Columbia and the Prairies.

Together, these conversations help build stronger communities and a stronger future for the regions where Tolko operates.

Our Tolko teams hit the field this weekend for Tolko's 4th Annual Softball Tournament. After a day of great competition, the White Valley Peelers came out on top as this year's champions!

A huge thank you to all the players, organizers, family members, and supporters who made the tournament such a success. Whether on the field, in the dugout, or cheering from the sidelines, your support helped make the day a memorable one.

Last weekend, our Heffley Creek team, along with their families, community partners, and local elected officials, came together to celebrate Tolko's 70th Anniversary🎉

The day brought people together at the Tournament Capital Ranch to enjoy great food, family activities, and meaningful conversations while reflecting on the people, partnerships, and communities that have shaped our journey.
